Tonight’s surprise performer:
Rachel More
Thanks to the generosity of the Boathouse, we were able to hold tonight’s event upstairs in the Chandelier Bar rather than outside.
We were able to relax in the warmth in comfort whilst listening to Rachel More, tonights’s performer. Rachel delivered a lively selection of Christmas and popular songs. A good sized crowd was in attendance and it was an evening thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

This evening’s charity was Ashley’s Birthday Bank, to whom a cheque to the value of £500 was presented on behalf of this evening’s sponsor, Little Lives.
The Boathouse treated us to mulled wine, mince pies and hot drinks, all of which were very welcome on such a cold, wet night.

Ashley’s Birthday Bank was set up at the end of 2014 and registered as a charity in April 2015. We provide two types of services: Firstly we provide underprivileged children (up to the age of 16) with a birthday and Christmas present to ensure they do not go without on these special occasions. Secondly we provide a crisis service for families who find themselves going through a financially difficult time or who have escaped domestic violence, neglect, human trafficking or abuse.

I simply love entertaining! Book me to sing at your event – I am available to perform in a variety of line-ups to suit your event and/or budget.
In my jazz set I perform a varied mix of swing, blues, bossas and latin including songs made famous by Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Peggy Lee to name but a few. I also perform ‘jazzed up’ arrangements of classic pop and soul songs in my repertoire.
I also help people find their voice! Uncover your own unique voice and feel the joy of expressing yourself through singing.
