Tonight’s performance at The Conservative Club
The 21st Advent Calendar performance for this year was hosted by The Conservative Club who kindly provided mince pies and mulled wine to add to the wonderfully tuneful performance to a rapt audience from Songbirds who were the act tonight. Truly a wonderful sound with a medley of seasonal songs.
Generous raffle prizes were provided by the charity of the evening, Bournemouth University Hospital Trust Dorset who were presented with a cheque for £500 from a sponsor who preferred to remain anonymous.
Our thanks to The Conservative Club for hosting the evening and we look forward to welcoming everyone to the Christchurch Library tomorrow for the 22nd event in this year’s programme.

backing tracks or a cappella. Their varied repertoire encompasses many genres from pop to opera.
The group was formed in 2014 and has since performed on many occasions, including several fund-raising events for Mencap in Ringwood and a wide variety of private events. They were delighted to be asked to perform for the Living Advent Calendar again this year.
