Tonight’s performance at The Baptist Church
The 10th Advent window was opened tonight at Christchurch Baptist Church. The surprise performers were the La Nova Singers who performed extracts from their upcoming Christmas concert, featuring festive favourites with a classical choral twist. Joined for their final song by 10 year old Isabelle Notherwood who sang beautifully.
The La Nova Singers were led by their conductor and musical director Michelle Nova.
Mel Spendley from the Water Lily Project received a cheque for £500 from Rotarian Mike Wood, on behalf of this evening’s Sponsor United Taxis.
Thank you to Christchurch Baptist Church for kindly hosting tonight’s event.
Tonight’s charity – all funds raised go to:
The Water Lily Project
The Water Lily Project is a registered Christian charity that predominantly supports vulnerable women in crisis. This may be a temporary crisis such as an acrimonious divorce, bereavement, illness etc. Or it could be something more long term such as mental health issues, self-harming, domestic violence and abuse, addiction or financial difficulties.
