Dirty Gerties Gin Parlour, Christchurch

Venue: Dirty Gerties Gin Parlour

It was a rainy evening for the opening of the 14th window. However CLAC has its loyal audience and Sarah Bolter gave a brilliant performance under the rain in the garden of Dirty Gerties. The charity was Julia’s House. Ian Searle introduced the charity. The evening sponsor of the 14th night of Christchurch Living Advent Calendar was Marks Estate Agents. Mark Ridout provided a cheque for £500 to the Life President of Julia’s House Liz Gardiner.
Excellent hospitality was provided by Lindsey and Will from Dirty Gerties.

Sarah Bolter –
December 14th’s surprise performer!

Sarah is a local freelance musician and teacher. Sarah plays the sax/clarinet and flute and sings and performs either as a solo artist or in a multitude of different combinations including running her own bands ‘Not Just Sax’ and ‘Sax In The City’.

Sarah passion is jazz, so the Christmas solo performance was ‘well known’ favourites with a jazzy twist!

Julia’s House

Julia’s House is not a typical children’s hospice. We provide practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, providing frequent and regular support in their own homes, in the community or at our hospices.
