The 20th “window” of Christchurch Living Advent Calendar was opened by Sarah’s Sixth Form Sax Group. The band charmed the audience at the `bouthouse with very professional renditions of well-known Christmas tunes.
Adam McCormack from KAMM Civil Engineering gave a cheque for £500 to Pete Holway from Hengistbury Head National Coastguard Institution. This evening’s performance was the third charity sponsored by Kamm Civil Engineering so far.
The audience enjoyed great hospitality and service from the Boathouse, Manager Simon Bennett and his team.

Watchkeepers are “eyes along the coast” for HM Coastguard. NCI Working for you. We maintain a watch from Barton-on-Sea in the east, through Christchurch and Poole Bays, and 12 miles out to sea round to Bournemouth pier in the west. The Headland is 36 metres (118) feet high and separates Christchurch bay from Poole Bay.
Sarah Bolter Sixth Form Saxophone Ensemble – December 20th’s surprise performers!
Sarah is a local freelance musician and teacher. Sarah plays the sax/clarinet and flute and sings and performs either as a solo artist or in a multitude of different combinations including running her own bands ‘Not Just Sax’ and ‘Sax In The City’.
The saxophone ensemble includes some of Sarah’s advanced students and they played some Christmas favourites.
With panoramic views of the quay, the Boathouse has the most unique location in Christchurch. Extensive outdoor and indoor seating and our own crazy golf course, the Boathouse is the ideal place for the whole family.
